Republicans hold firm in Obama cabinet confirmations

Although President Obama had named his cabinet fairly quickly, Senate Republicans are performing their due diligence in confirming his picks. That's a good sign and demonstrates the check and balance of our two-party political system. Of course, don't be surprised if the White House starts politicizing the delays, accuse the Republicans of stalling the American government. I hope the Republicans stand firm and vet these nominees thoroughly. The character and experience of the cabinet have a great impact on the course of the nation.
