Governors, steel industry also seek bailout

Unsurprisingly, more bailout requests.

Governors of five states are asking the federal government to hand out $1 trillion to help the 50 states in education, infrastructure, and welfare. Democratic governors of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Wisconsin are leading the charge to pick Washington's wallet.

Then we have the steel industry wanting help from Obama's promised stimulus package. He's not even president yet and already there are lobbyists bugging his transition team. Big Steel wants the government to order more steel for infrastructure projects, but somehow I think the government isn't going to get the best price for steel if the bailout happens...

What better way to start off the new year with requests for free money?
