Retailers want to be stimulated
We all know retailers are in trouble in the current economic meltdown largely because consumers are in trouble. The NRF proposal seeks tax-free periods of 10 days each in the months of March, July, and October 2009 and has the federal government reimburse states for the lost tax revenue.
