Obama should re-read the Declaration of Independence

I get it: Obama wants to define his presidency as one of tolerance, unity, and change. That's probably why he made a global fool of himself while speaking in Turkey:

President Obama told reporters in Turkey that America is not defined by any one religion. "I've said before that one of the great strengths of the United States is, although as I mentioned we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values," said the president.

Is he not fan of U.S. history and our Founding Fathers? The Declaration of Independence, which founded the country, contains the words "God" and "Creator" and "Divine Providence." Look at the U.S. currency: "In God We Trust." Many leaders end their speeches with "God bless America"...

We are a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values and are not afraid to stand up for God (unless you're a President worried about how Muslims perceive you).

PDS sufferers gasp at slaughtered turkeys

Do liberals celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends eating turkey? I wonder...

Gov. Sarah Palin pardoned an Alaskan turkey then gave an interview to a local news channel, but the PDS crowd is troubled that in the background there's a man slaughtering turkeys.

The man's doing his job. He works at a turkey farm. He feeds turkeys so they turn plump, then he kills them so others can enjoy turkey meals. In turn, he's compensated and uses his paychecks to take care of his family.

Besides, it's not like there was blood splattering everywhere or turkey pieces flying in the background. The PDS sufferers are reacting as if a serial murderer was captured on TV committing his gruesome crime.
