Ooops, another withdrawal: Chas Freeman

President Obama's pick to chair the National Intelligence Council, Chas Freeman, decides against taking the job.

With the rate these appointments are nominated and withdrawn, the President may not have a full cabinet until the next election... The sad thing is that Democrats control Congress and these nominees just exit even before their hearing.

Is there another reason these people so willingly withdraw without putting up a fight? Personally I think a lot of these folks no longer have the desire to work in the Obama administration after getting a glimpse of Team Obama in action.

What's it with President Obama's candidates for his cabinet and inner circle? Charles Freeman, the likely appointee to the National Intelligence Council, had ties to the bin Laden family business even after the 9/11 attacks. Furthermore, Freeman's Projects International gave more than $1,000 to the Obama presidential campaign. Pay to play?
