CHANGE in the CIA

President-elect Obama has picked Leon Panetta to head the CIA. And what's the Clinton connection? Panetta was Clinton's chief of staff. Again, we see Clintons Have A New Grip on Everything (CHANGE)...

It looks like Obama wants to keep the CIA close during his term by selecting a politician rather than from someone within the CIA ranks. However, is it a wise decision? How effective can a career politician run the world's top spy agency?

Panetta may have "nothing to do with the last eight years," but his lack of experience in this matter is worrisome.

More Clinton helpers in Obama team

Betty Currie, President Clinton's personal secretary, now helps answering the phone of transition team co-chairman, John Podesta. Podesta, of course, used to be Clinton's White House chief of staff.

Clintons Have A New Grip on Everything (CHANGE), indeed!

Obamaniacs help with censoring on transition site

Obama's transition team launched a feature called "Open for Questions" on its site, Change.gov, for users to submit questions and vote on the top ones, much like Digg. But users are also allowed to flag inappropriate questions to remove them from the list. It looks like Obamaniacs are abusing such a feature to remove questions relating to the recent Federal investigation of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Again, change we can believe in!

CHANGE in Obama's economic plan

Clintons Have A New Grip on Everything, now even in Obama's choice for economic posts: Timothy Geithner as Treasury Secretary, Lawrence Summers as senior White House economics advisor, Christina Romer as chair of Council of Economic Advisors, and Peter Orszag as budget director. All these folks are apprentices of Robert Rubin, Clinton's Treasury Secretary.
