Rahm Emanuel, President Obama's W.H. Chief of Staff, has some explaining to do.
He failed to disclose the gift of living rent-free for years in the home of Rep. Rosa De Lauro (D-CT).
Even more troubling is the fact that he'd served on the board of Freddie Mac when it lied about its earnings, a contributing factor of today's economic meltdown.
It's a good thing that his position doesn't require a Senate confirmation hearing. Otherwise, we'd have seen another nominee withdrawal. One cannot help but wonder: What type of people is President Obama surrounding himself with?
